It isn’t.
How many broke people do you know who still have a $200+/month cable bill? I’m guessing a lot. A $100+/month cell phone? A leased car?
I don’t have cable TV anymore. I cancelled it when I did some math and figured out that I was paying Time Warner more to watch terrible shows than I paid to take a Caribbean cruise in the winter.
Credit Card interest? Nope. I don’t pay that either. That’s another free cruise. Or dinner at a fancy restaurant, every month, forever, for free.
If the price ends with “Per Month”, don’t take the bait. You’ll be happier. And you won’t be broke.
