They’re here!
I’ve been waiting for years for Choptle’s to come to Syracuse, and it was worth every minute.
I had a grilled chicken burrito with pinto beans, rice, guacamole and some salsa. Last week. And I’m still thinking about it.
Everything was perfect. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, the chicken was cooked, seasoned and spiced perfectly and everything was fresh and wonderful. I just don’t know what else to say, except “You need to go eat one”.
If you’re on Erie Blvd in Dewitt, near Barnes & Noble, you have to stop at Chipotle’s.
Well it didn’t work.
I tried to be strong, but was weak and couldn’t resist. We went back tonight.
I have to give it a “10 out of 10.” Just for a reference, there are only three other meals I’ve had anywhere, ever, that I would rate as “10″:
Eating at Chipotle’s is like having a party in your mouth. Each ingredient jumped up and said “I’m here and I’m yummy and I’m perfect”
This time I had the grilled chicken burrito with pinto beans, cilantro-lime rice, mild tomato-salsa, guacamole, cheese and hot salsa. There’s nothing that any chef in the world could have done to make it taste better.
PS. I still need a picture. If anybody has taken an excellent hi-res picture of a Chipotle’s Burrito, I’d love to use it here (with a photo-credit, of course)
