It turns out that Bank of America was still screwing me with the Cruise Rewards points, but I didn’t catch on soon enough.

The points were supposedly worth $1 each, however they were only redeemable with the B of A travel agent and only as a $500 or $800 credit on a cruise booked with them.

However, the B of A travel agent is more expensive than an of the on-line travel sites by nearly exactly the value of the points, so it turns out that the points are actually worthless.

I switched to Captial One, who pays 1% cash back. Points are not “as good as cash”. Only cash is as good as cash. Everything else is something different.

Hey there, have you seen my recipe? That is how we make potato pancakes in my native Slovakia. Potato pancakes are the best!

And yes, I have also come across bunch of really weird recipes…

Well it didn’t work.

I tried to be strong, but was weak and couldn’t resist. We went back tonight.

I have to give it a “10 out of 10.” Just for a reference, there are only three other meals I’ve had anywhere, ever, that I would rate as “10″:

Maitake Mushroom & Chesapeake Bay Crab Chowder and Aged Tenderloin at The Arad Evans Inn
Garlic-Chipotle Wings at the Dinosaur Barbecue
Tuna Tataki Salad with Yuzu Dressing & Sushi a Morimoto’s in Philly

Eating at Chipotle’s is like having a party in your mouth. Each ingredient jumped up and said “I’m here and I’m yummy and I’m perfect”

This time I had the grilled chicken burrito with pinto beans, cilantro-lime rice, mild tomato-salsa, guacamole, cheese and hot salsa. There’s nothing that any chef in the world could have done to make it taste better.

I was posting what I experienced. According to the other local reviews, my experience was typical.

If Cici’s changes the way they cook and do business, I’d be happy to give them another try.

I am so sorry your visit was not a positive one. Unfortunately, no company in the service industry can guarantee that every customer has a wonderful visit all the time. They certainly can’t dictate how parents supervise their children. Cici’s has a generally positive reputation, and I am sure that the managers of Cici’s would be happy to make it up to you, but you need to give them the chance. They can’t help you if you just walk out without notifying anyone there is a problem.

It was a big hit here too. Usually beef stew is a little disappointing in some way, but this was just completely over the top. Everybody loved it.

I figured it was something that should be shared.
